Today’s food diary

Breakfast

  • Egg (backyard fresh) – scrambled using a little organic butter. I normally use coconut oil for scrambling if anything at all, but Mike forgets that and today he was cooking.
  • Toast – Dakota whole wheat bread from Great Harvest with a little organic butter

Lunch

  • Organic grapes
  • Salad: organic romaine, organic cucumber, raw cheese shredded, leftover smoked organic chicken, organic kalamata olives topped with some Primal Kitchen Greek Dressing.
  • Glass of raw milk from Redmond Heritage farms. The cheese on the salad was from there too.

Dinner

  • Smoked grass fed organic Flat iron steak strips approx 2 oz
  • My favorite go-to Veggie Stir Fry (Organic ingredients included: onion, red and yellow pepper, celery, carrots, garlic, mushrooms and a spray of olive oil. Non-organic ingredients included canned water chestnuts in water, canned bamboo shoots in water. I created a sauce mix to add to the veggies made of Organic Shoyu nama and organic pecan nut butter and some dried red pepper flake and a sprinkle of ginger) [Note: As soon as I start my recipe section this will be there]
  • Organic Sweet potato yam plain (sometimes i add butter and black pepper but not this time)
  • Couple of glasses of Organic Frey 2015 Pinot Noir.
